Feed Mill Manager

Feed Mill Manager- We are looking for a Feed Mill Manager to oversee daily operations, including: pelleted feed manufacturing, production efficiency, ingredient acquisition and inventory, and safety compliance while utilizing technology/software for automation, inventory tracking, batching accuracy, and pellet quality. Key duties include managing personnel, optimizing production, maintaining equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities include: • Production & Efficiency: Manage the batching and pelleting process using Comco Helm software to monitor mill automation systems. • Inventory Control: Utilize software to monitor ingredient inventories, manage bin levels, and order ingredients and supplies. • Quality Assurance: Ensure finished feed meets nutritional specs and food safety standards. • Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA, FDA, and EPA standards, maintaining a safe workplace and compliance records. • Equipment Maintenance: Schedule preventative maintenance ...
