Job Description

This role supports a Federal Government Agency with a complex, large-scale deployment of specialized ASTRO systems and solutions. The Federal Network Engineer (ASTRO/WAVE) is a critical technical role, working both on-site and remotely with Program Management, other Engineers, and the Federal Government Agency Customer to achieve communication goals.

This position is responsible for the architectural network design of backhaul solutions for ASTRO 25, WAVE VoIP, and adjacent technologies, ensuring the creation of highly secure, easily managed, mission-critical IP networks for Federal, State, and Local government agencies.

Daily work involves developing technical strategies, leading various migration efforts, presenting to the customer, and creating comprehensive documentation.
