About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Federal Grant Proposal Writer
to lead the development of
USDA-NIFA AFRI proposals
, with a focus on
Education, Workforce Development, and Agricultural Literacy programs
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing
end-to-end, submission-ready proposals
that strictly comply with NOFO requirements and federal regulations.

This role requires someone who understands
compliance-first proposal writing
, not generic content writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of
  USDA-NIFA AFRI proposals
  (A7501, EWD, Extension, and Integrated projects)
• Interpret and apply
  NOFO instructions, Part IV requirements, and reviewer criteria
• Draft and finalize:
• Project Abstract
• Project Narrative (needs assessment, approach, evaluation, sustainability, risk management)
• Project Working Sheets / Logic Frameworks
• Budget Na...
