Farm supervisor

• Location: 2200 Bear Hill Rd, Central Saanich, BC V8M 1X7
• Work setting: Rural area, staff accommodation available
• Salary: $23.00 per hour, 40 to 60 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, full time
• Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations
• Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
• Train other workers

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in farm operations
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
• Personal suitability: Team player
