Main Purpose of the Job

• Meet and greet families into the Children's Centre/Family Hub and provide advice, support, and signposting to relevant support services to meet their needs, making necessary referrals when needed.
• Facilitate and deliver support groups and other activities for families with young children, in accordance with recognised early intervention and prevention strategies.

Main Accountabilities

• Facilitate and deliver support groups, workshops, and other activities for families with young children accessing a range of services through the Children's Centres/Family Hubs.
• Initiate play and learning activities for parents and children together and role‑model good practice for parents in relation to the care of children, including promotion of the home learning environment and consideration of locality and emerging trends.
