Responsibilities
Create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where families and children feel comfortable and supported. Develop and facilitate programs that support healthy child and family development Encourage and support families and children of offering encouragement, relevant information and resources Collaborate with staff and community partners to deliver programs and social events Participate in Professional Development and training opportunities as these become available. Over-see the development and needs of the centre’s space, equipment and materials. Training as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Certificate in Early Childhood Education. 2 years experience working with children and families Experience facilitating programs for children and families Ability to work flexible hours Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with parents/caregivers, children and community groups Assets
