Family Law clerk or paralegal (Vancouver)

Wowk Law is looking for an experienced law clerk or paralegal with significant experience in the family law field.

Responsibilities

Work directly with clients including the preparation of financial statements; dealing with all aspects of identifying, securing and organizing disclosure; maintaining files, tracking and following up with work to be done on files; preparing first drafts of documents; completing uncontested divorces independently; making required entries into the bookkeeping system (Cosmolex), billing files and following up on accounts.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have worked with a family lawyer for a minimum of two years. The other qualifications are having a robust work ethic, an ability to show initiative and work independently, strong organizational skills, a willingness, interest and ability to learn new skills, and good social and interpersonal skills.
