The School of Arts & Technology at Selkirk College is seeking a full-time Electric Bass Instructor to join our Contemporary Music & Technology faculty to teach in person at our Tenth Street Campus in Nelson, BC. Our innovative diploma program is based on the world‑renowned Berklee College of Music curriculum. It includes individual instruction on voice, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, violin, and keyboards, as well as a solid grounding in music theory, ear training, and music technology. The successful candidate will have a record of active performance, participation in the music industry, and a commitment to student success. All instructors teach a range of courses across the core program curriculum and share Selkirk College’s student‑centred values and mission to “inspire generations of changemakers through relevant, inventive and sustainable education.”
