Facilities at Farmingdale State College seeks to fill a Facility Operations Assistant 1 vacancy in Moving & Trucking. Facility Operations Assistant 1's may perform any or all of the following duties:
+ Perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort.
+ Assist in maintaining, constructing, and repairing buildings, roads, other structures and grounds.
+ Will be required to work outdoors in inclement weather.
+ May use hand tools or operate motor driven equipment.
+ Loads and unloads heavy equipment, supplies, and furniture from trucks by physically lifting items or operating a hand truck or forklift.
+ Moves heavy supplies, furniture, and equipment.
+ Generally performs work duties as part of a work crew.
