Facility Maintenance & Grounds Technician II

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Technician II/ Grounds Technician to join our team in Chillicothe, IL!

+ Typical work schedule is 40hrs weekly, hours may vary based on business demand.

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, facilities, grounds and equipment in an operating and functional condition.

Duties may include any of the following: grounds maintenance, carpentry, painting and plastering, masonry, machine servicing, and general mechanical maintenance

Responsibilities:

+ Under general supervision, perform tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity.
+ Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance, determines nature of problem, and recommends appropriate solutions.
