Facilities Mechanic 1

**Job Description**
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment. They shall be proficient in maintaining all types of industrial flooring and have a broad and full understanding of other janitorial responsibilities for large commercial businesses. Some examples of expected proficiencies from the successful candidate shall be but not be limited to the following: #FAC

+ Must have a safety first mindset and work history
+ Stripping and refinishing of VCT and ESD tile flooring
+ Maintenance of VCT and ESD tile flooring
+ Experienced in floor machine scrubbing, dam mopping, spray buffing and burnishing.
+ Adept in carpet care, vacuuming, spot/stain removal and operation of carpet cleaning equipment
+ Must have experience with fixing and maintaining janitorial equipment
+ Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to multi task
