Facilities & Maintenance Technician

OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION

The Facilities & Maintenance Technician performs surveillance, maintenance or calibration and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment at the Nidau and Brügg buildings in accordance with the quality standards, rules and regulations regarding Health & Safety as well as workspace aesthetics.

TASKS

• Ensure the calibration activities are done in due time (internally or externally) and maintain the paper and electronic documentation of calibration activity.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures and schedule.
• Participate in the elaboration of calibration and preventive methods.
• Coordinate activities with other internal technicians (i.T.) and external technical service providers.
• Perform “on Call” responsibilities.
• Maintain the proper documentation of activity in accordance with Quality requirements.
