Facilities Engineer (Chargeman AO)

Responsibilities

• Competent Person: Act as the registered Chargeman A0 for the facility to supervise and control all low‑voltage electrical installations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical engineering and plant operations strictly adhere to the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.
• Authority Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact to liaise with Suruhanjaya Tenaga on all audit, certification, and compliance matters.
• Documentation: Properly maintain and update statutory operation logbooks, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance files required by law.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and rapid repair works on low‑voltage electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Plan and execute PM schedules for the plant’s electrical distribution boards, sub‑stations, and facilities infrastructure.
