Facilities: Electrician

JOB DUTIES:

POSITION:A full-time university staff position is available in Facilities beginning August 30, 2025. The working title for this assignment is Electrician. This is an expected-to-continue assignment which requires a six-month probationary period.The expected hourly hiring salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a current WI Master Electrician License; Thorough knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of the electrician trade;Knowledge and experience with the National Electrical Code, Wisconsin State Electrical Code, & Wisconsin DSPS building codes; Significant knowledge and experience complying with all safety laws and regulations(e.g. Electrical Arc Flash Compliance, Lock-out Tag-out, OSHA, & WI DSPS; Knowledge of major types of electrical installations, common and unusual breakdowns and standard repair procedures;Ability to read the English language suffi...
