About the role: Facilities & Maintenance Officer
Activate Learning is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Officer to join the team at our Merrist Wood College keeping the campus safe, secure, compliant, and fully operational to support teaching and learning.
As a Facilities & Maintenance Officer, you will act as a hands-on handyperson carrying out a wide range of day-to-day compliance and maintenance tasks across the campus. Duties include:
Unlocking and securing buildings
General repairs
Painting and decorating
Setting up rooms for events
Moving furniture
Health and safety and compliance checks
Monitoring site security
Responding to helpdesk requests
Maintaining external areas
Overseeing waste and recycling processes
