Facade Technical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review designs, drawings, specifications, BOQ and make modifications to suit prevailing site conditions
• Review packages and coordinate with subcontractors for all technical queries, highlight discrepancies pre/post tendering
• Manage a team of structural and architectural draughtsmen for preparation of shop drawings
• Coordinate with MEP requirements, receive material indents from site, analyze requirements, and submit for approval
• Evaluate and determine appropriate construction delivery systems and most cost-effective plans for project completion
• Oversee selection of contractors and consultants to complete specific project components
• Prepare Method Statements and submit to consultants
• Attend weekly progress meetings with client and consultant to resolve critical issues
