**Job Description**

This role focuses on fabricating and assembling truck body components for county road commission trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. You will interpret blueprints, measure and cut materials, operate a variety of fabrication tools, and perform MIG or ARC welding to build and repair truck bodies and related equipment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision in fabrication, and consistent communication with shop leadership to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Fabricate truck body parts and components for county road commission trucks and other heavy-duty trucks from cab and wheel base to finished body.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material requirements, measurements, and fabrication steps.
