Extrusion Technician-1st & 3rd Shift

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years of extrusion experience.

Reports to

Manufacturing Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibility

Maximize extrusion productivity on up to 3 extrusion lines.

Essential Functions of Position (not limited to tasks listed)

• Troubleshoot and make appropriate adjustments to all affected equipment to produce parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards;
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervisor on cell work assignments to minimize downtime on extruders and ensure on-time delivery to customers;
• Work with the Extrusion Engineer and/or the Chief Technical Officer in developing new product processing conditions;
• Work with Quality Control in developing appropriate measuring methods for new products;
• All functions listed for Extruder Operators;
• All functions listed for Manufacturing Associates.
