**Job Description**

The Extrusion and Cable Insulation Operator sets up, operates, monitors, and maintains extrusion and related equipment used to insulate wire and cable products. This role ensures that all products meet defined quality standards, production targets, and safety requirements while maintaining efficient machine operation and minimizing downtime in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate extrusion, insulation, spark testing, and winding equipment according to job specifications and work instructions.
+ Load raw materials such as polymers, compounds, and colour masterbatch into machine hoppers, dryers, and distribution systems.
+ Monitor machine parameters including temperature, pressure, line speed, and diameter throughout the production run.
