Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Medical Oncology role supports patient care delivery within the Medical Oncology G21 Unit at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. This 48-bed, four-pod intermediate medical oncology unit provides care to adult and geriatric patients ranging from 18 to 95 years old, including individuals with colorectal, gastrointestinal, and lung cancers receiving complex chemotherapeutic and bio-immunotherapeutic regimens, as well as management of treatment side effects, acute non-cancer medical conditions, cardiac monitoring, and infusion of cardiac medications. The Clinical Nurse Medical Oncology works in a highly collaborative environment focused on safety, clinical excellence, and continuity of care.
