Experienced Care Assistant

Overview

Abbots Care is a CQC rated Outstanding care provider committed to supporting vulnerable clients and providing a supportive environment for staff. We require a Home Care Worker who can travel with their own vehicle and has the right to work in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Service Users with leaving hospital and transitioning back to home life.
• Provide care in clients’ homes according to their Care Plan, including personal care, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, exercise and domestic tasks.
• Coordinate with medical professionals such as district nurses and pharmacies.

Working Hours

Shifts are between 7 am and 10 pm with patterns of 7 am‑2 pm and 4 pm‑10 pm, inclusive of alternate weekends.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
