Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts;

Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP;

Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities;

Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s);

Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
Other Skills & Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills;

Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance;

Basic computer skills.
Education & Experience
