Exercise Physiologist / Trainer

Job Description This position is for an Athletic Trainer in the community, youth or high school setting, primarily supporting the medical needs of the assigned partner. The trainer provides medical coverage on the field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events. Duties may include assisting other local high schools, community sporting events, and regional camps. The role has variable hours and unpredictable schedules, requiring adaptation to partner needs and late nights. Essential Functions Carries out rehabilitation programs after the athlete or patient has been evaluated and a treatment plan established, collaborating closely with PT and physicians. Assesses and administers first aid to injured athletes during practices and sporting events, making appropriate physician referrals when needed.
