Executive Producer

ABC4 News (ABC4/CW30) wants to talk to you if you are smart, energetic and innovative. We have an Executive Producer opening in our newsroom. The Executive Producer will be responsible for news across all media platforms during the early morning and morning hours, on both ABC4 and CW30.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Supervises morning and midday newscasts Monday-Friday

+ Works with/teaches morning producers to be their best

+ Sets direction for content coverage

+ Manages newsroom during the morning hours, and is responsible for breaking news coverage

+ Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devices

+ Supervises Integrated Media Center during the early morning hours

+ Plans/executes teases and marketing elements for the morning newscasts

+ Hires producers for the morning newscasts

+ In charge of any discipline action that needs to be taken
