(What the role is)
We are seeking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Vector Control and Operations Division, which is responsible for planning and implementing vector-borne diseases surveillance, prevention, and control programmes. An evidence-based, integrated vector management approach underpins the work that the Division does. You will work alongside internal and external partners to ensure operational effectiveness and safeguard the environmental public health of Singapore.(What you will be working on)
You will be responsible for the following:
- Conceptualise and drive new vector surveillance (e.g. Gravitraps) and control (e.g. rat management) work initiatives from inception to implementation
- Carry out budgeting, procurement, and contract management
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction or Guidelines for consistent implementation
