Executive Director for Manufacturing

Summary This position is in the International Trade Administration, Industry and Analysis. The Executive Director for Manufacturing is responsible for managing operations and resources for programs that promote U.S. exports and advance and protect U.S. commercial interests in specified sectors. The incumbent reports to the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Manufacturing. Responsibilities Works with the DAS, provides strategic direction and communication of strategy and priorities as well as the organization's vision, mission and goals to subordinate staff. As appropriate, the Executive Director serves as Acting DAS Manufacturing in his/her absence. Oversees formulation of resource requests and manages a process to continually align resources based on opportunities and needs.
