What does this role involve?

• Developing and maintaining autonomy software for real-world robotic systems
• Working with ROS 2 , utilizing modern C++ (17/20) and Python
• Integrating perception, planning, and control modules
• Collaborating with deployment teams to support complex field operations
• Occasional travel for hands‑on deployment support
• Working onsite with the robotics team in Oxford Verda

Requirements:

• Proven industry experience or strong academic background
• Evidence of past work such as open-source contributions , competition results , or deployed systems
• Solid experience with ROS 2 , C++ , and Python
