Excavator Operator - Dogging

Skillforce Recruitment are sourcing Excavator Operators with Rigging or Dogging Tickets for various site base work in the Perth Metro Area .

This assignment will run for approximately 6 - 12 weeks then continue onto other assignments.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Operating Excavators: Digging, trenching, placing pipe, backfilling, and performing detailed excavation using various attachments.
• Dogging/Slinging Loads: Applying slinging techniques, inspecting lifting gear (chains, slings, shackles), and calculating load weights and centers of gravity.
• Directing Lifts: Using hand signals or radios to direct the excavator operator (or other cranes) during lifting operations, particularly when the load is out of view.
