Event Notetaker Volunteer

Bromley Experts by Experience run different services and events for Disabled people across Bromley, empowering Disabled people to share ideas, feedback on local issues and services and get to know each other. Each event has staff present, organising the agenda, setting up the room and supporting the tech to include online attendees.

We want to share notes of what was discussed at each event with our members afterwards. This is especially important for people who couldn’t come along.

The Event Notetaker volunteers alongside a staff member to make brief notes of the discussion at the meeting, while the staff member leads the session.

What is involved

• Support the CEO and Systems & Engagement Manager to capture notes of what was discussed at the event.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before start time to support welcoming members and prepare.
  • Welcome attendees and make people feel comfortable.
