Estimator

We are looking for an Estimator to join the Higgins team in Mount Maunganui.

In this role, you will prepare accurate, competitive tenders and quotes across a range of civil construction projects, working closely with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors to develop pricing that is robust, practical, and ready for delivery.

You will own the estimating process from first review through to handover, balancing risk, cost, and constructability to support strong project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed tenders, estimates and pricing plans that meet client and internal requirements
• Review tender documents and identify scope, risks, assumptions and opportunities
• Price labour, plant, materials and subcontractor inputs using CCS (Candy) software
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to secure accurate and competitive pricing
• Maintain clear tender records, win/loss tracking, ...
