Estimator - Refrigeration/Mechanical Systems (Remote)

Description

We are seeking an Estimator to support our New Systems team by delivering accurate and competitive project estimates. This role focuses on both design‑build and plan & specification refrigeration and mechanical projects and may involve collaboration with internal Sales and Engineering teams as well as direct coordination with General Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for refrigeration and mechanical construction and retrofit projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, RFPs, and on‑site conditions.
• Perform material takeoffs, labor calculations, and cost analysis; coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for accurate pricing.
• Develop and write clear subcontractor scopes of work.
• Conduct site visits and attend pre‑bid walkthroughs as required, including roof access when necessary.
