A Carter Lumber Estimator performs material take-offs on residential and light commercial buildings.  Requires accurate knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the building construction industry.  A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and customer service are necessary to this position

Requirements to be Considered for the Position: 

+ 2+ years experience in residential and light commercial construction or 2 years in estimating

+ Understanding of home, pole building, garage, barn and deck components

+ Ability to read blueprints

+ Building material sales experience

+ Working knowledge of Professional Estimating Software

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and O...
