Estimation Engineer

Cardiff Engineering Services is seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound Estimation Engineer to support bidding, costing, and proposal development for Engineering, Fire Protection & Life Safety projects. The role involves preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals in line with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tenders for Fire & Safety projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work (Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hydrant, Pumps, Gas Suppression, etc.)
Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for estimation purposes
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate pricing
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients
Assist sales and business development teams with pre-bid and post-bid support
Ensure estimates comply with NFPA, local fire authority, and client standards
