Estimating Engineer (Mechanical, Sanitary, Plumbing & Fire Pro)

Job Summary:

- The Estimating Mechanical Engineer with knowledge and background as quantity surveyor/estimator for HVAC, FIRE PRO and PLUMBING trades. The position is responsible for preparation of estimates (take-offs and unit cost), evaluation of tender documents, review of plans, evaluation of quotation and coordination with estimating team, operations and procurement.





Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To prepare competitive estimates and costing for Mechanical (HVAC and Fire Protection) and Plumbing/Sanitary trades for all types of structures.

- Determine procurement strategy & methodology

- Derive material and labor unit costs

- Prepare tender qualification

- Collate estimates from other estimator

- Prepare other necessary bid documents

- Prepare indicative design and estimates using parametric/elemental costs for design and build projects
