Job Summary

ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Sliding Head Setter and Operator to set and/or operate various CNC machines using Fanuc, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels. The role involves monitoring machining processes to ensure finished parts meet high standards.

Location & Hours

Location: Stroud

Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday; 07:30 – 12:30 Friday

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £15.00 – £20.00 per hour

Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sliding head CNC machines.
• Program and adjust Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazatrol control panels.
• Monitor machining processes and ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Load materials and maintain machinery.

Required Experience & Skills

• Previous experience programming/setting sliding head machines.
