Our client, Flexihire, is currently seeking skilled Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling a wide range of diesel-powered equipment in the hire fleet, including excavators, generators, trailers, and other mobile plant machinery. The role also includes diagnostics, field service, and supporting workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
2. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on hire equipment
3. Perform field breakdown repairs and after-hours service when required
4. Prepare machinery for hire, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met
5. Rebuild or replace engine components and troubleshoot transmission and electrical faults
