Equipment Technician

Job description

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of test equipment and hardware.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, repair and maintenance of Testers and
• Handlers / Probers platforms. Ensure equipment are in production condition with minimum downtime and running at yield specified.
• Responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting daily equipment downtime.
• Support test hardware maintenance and setup for engineering activities and production ramp-up, performing required test correlation and assist in new test equipment move-in and buy-off.
• Follow protocols to ensure quality control and optimal test equipment performance.
• Identify the cause of machine problems and implement permanent measures.
• Conduct machine ESD, grounding check and implement measures to ESD check findings.
• Document testing procedures and results to improve equipment utilization....
