Insight Global's large semiconductor client is looking for an Equipment Engineer to join their Optical Systems Division. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining facilities and production equipment across the site. The role ensures all equipment runs efficiently, meets safety standards, and complies with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and managing new equipment installations. This is a tool‑ownership role, not a design‑focused engineering position. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required to coordinate with production, maintenance, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines. This position also involves maintenance on all of the facilities equipment.
