Job Description
: Leadership and day-to-day management of the Equine Centre yard staff, including supervision, development and performance management
Sourcing, managing and monitoring loan horses to ensure suitability for teaching
Oversight of Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) student yard duty, ensuring high standards of training and support
Management of the Student Livery Yard, providing a positive and professional experience
Ensure compliance with British Horse Society (BHS) licensing requirements, Equine Residential Standards (ERS) Council standards and relevant National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) guidance
Promote and maintain the highest standards of equine welfare, biosecurity and yard management practices
Complete and maintain all relevant Equine Centre administration, records and documentation associated with the role
