EQT Electro-Mechanical Engineer

The Electro-mechanical Engineer shall join the Gibbs & Cox Survivability Team to directly support an Environment Qualification Test (EQT) Facility located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Philadelphia, PA. The applicant must work well in a team environment and be willing to learn new skill sets for testing the Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) characteristics of Navy equipment. A background in Electrical and / or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Experience with performing qualification testing is not required, as the applicant will be trained in all laboratory duties. The engineer will work directly with the test facility manager to support a backlog of EMI testing that includes managing projects, writing test procedures, configuring test setups inside Anechoic chambers, conducting MIL-STD- 461 emission and susceptibility tests and documenting results.
