Epileptologist for Pediatric to Adult Transitional Clinic

We are seeking an adult or pediatric epileptologist to join and expand the regional epilepsy program at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC). The focus of this role is to provide high-quality, timely care for patients with complex epilepsy transitioning from BC Children’s Hospital or community-based services into the adult healthcare system.

The successful candidate will join an established group of epileptologists providing outpatient epilepsy care at JPOCSC. The role includes developing multidisciplinary programs for complex epilepsy populations, including tuberous sclerosis complex and epileptic encephalopathies, as well as contributing to the assessment of young adults (under age 30) presenting with first seizures or newly diagnosed epilepsy, including those not previously followed in pediatric care.
