Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves scrubbing in to assist physicians, prepping, and circulating within the procedure room, and ensuring the proper procurement of necessary equipment. You will assess patients for any factors that may impact the procedure and verify clinical information according to departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrub in and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.Prepare and circulate within the procedure room, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.Assess patients for any contraindications or factors that could impact the procedure (e.g., medications, insufficient preparation).Verify clinical information following departmental policies, including adherence to Red Rules and Time Out procedures.Required Qualifications:
