Job Description

Environmental Services Aides are responsible for keeping the KRMC facility safe, clean, disinfected and well maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local health codes and regulations. Responsible for disinfecting all areas of the hospital including; patient areas, diagnostic testing rooms, waiting areas, staff areas, examination rooms, operation rooms, and corridors.
Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
Assists in cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms with hospital grade disinfection with the standards and procedures set by the department and KRMC.
Initiates and promotes quality improvement, seeking to meet, and exceed, customer expectations.
Demonstrates proper hand washing and/or sanitizing following KRMC policy and procedures.
