**Job Summary**
The Environmental Services Worker III is responsible for performing advanced cleaning, sanitation, and facility maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, hygienic, and compliant hospital environment. This role requires expertise in floor care, waste management, infection control, and specialized cleaning procedures. The Environmental Services Worker III may also assist with training new staff, overseeing complex cleaning assignments, and ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
**Essential Functions**
+ Performs advanced floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, deep-cleaning carpets, and operating floor maintenance equipment.
+ Handles the removal, segregation, and proper disposal of hazardous, infectious, and noninfectious waste, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and hospital policies.
