Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping Aid)

Summary This position is located within the Environmental Management Services Division at the Fort Wayne, Indiana VA Medical Center, part of the Northern Indiana Healthcare System (NIHCS). The incumbent reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor or designated representative and is responsible for performing both janitorial and custodial services at the facility. Responsibilities At the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Environmental Services Technicians (also known as Housekeeping Aids) play a critical role in supporting our Veterans and their families. As part of our team, you'll help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, making a direct impact on the patient care experience. In this role, you'll work alongside a dedicated group-85% of our housekeeping staff are Veterans themselves.
