• Own the facility's air permit program with the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (Non-Title V or Title V as applicable): track permit conditions, runtime limits, and emission thresholds, and complete recordkeeping and emissions reporting with zero exceedances.[C2.1]
• Own EPCRA Tier II reporting and the SPCC spill prevention program, running drills and maintaining a trained spill response team.
• Stand up and maintain an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, aligning facility procedures to the framework and driving toward certification.
• Own the environmental compliance budget and manage sampling labs, consultants, and disposal vendors, and manage and develop the environmental specialists assigned to the program.
• Serve as primary liaison to ADEQ, the Maricopa County Air Quality Department, EPA Region 9, and the Authority Having Jurisdiction for inspections, audits, and permit compliance, and keep the master compliance calendar at zero misse...
