EnvironmentalHealthOfficerWeareseekinganexperiencedagencyEnvironmentalHealthOfficerwithastrongpollutionbackgroundtosupportasmallPollution/EnvironmentalProtectionteam. EnvironmentalHealthOfficerThepostholderwillleadonnoise-relatedplanningconsultations,includingtheassessmentofdevelopmentproposalsandtheprovisionoftechnicalnoiseadvicetoPlanning.TherolewillalsoinvolvemanagingandadvisingonSection61applicationsandderogationsundertheControlofPollutionAct. EnvironmentalHealthOfficerTheEHOwillsupportairqualitywork,includingcontributingtotheimplementationofthecouncilsdraftAirQualityActionPlanandassistingwiththeforthcomingpublicconsultationprocess. EnvironmentalHealthOfficerAnunderstandingofwaterqualityissuesandexperienceofwaterqualityimprovementprojectworkwouldbeadvantageous,particularlyinsupportingcross-serviceorpartnership-basedenvironmentalimprovementinitiatives.
