Environmental Field Laborer

Clean Harbors in **East Chicago, IN** is seeking an **Environmental Field Laborer** to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. Team members will be primarily responsible for safe and compliant transfer of bulk materials from tankers to railcars.

+ **Availability to work a flexible schedule is required**
+ **Average an 8-10+ hour day. Overtime after 40 hrs.**
+ **Possible overnight travel, hotel and per diem provided**
+ **Hours and schedule are not guaranteed, and will vary with emergency response needs**

**Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company, and it is paid training.**
