Job Description
The Environmental Engineer oversees all aspects of environmental compliance and sustainability for a manufacturing facility. This role prepares and maintains environmental permits, ensures adherence to state and federal regulations, and leads the implementation of the Environmental Management System. The Environmental Engineer provides technical support to operations, manages environmental reporting, and champions sustainable business practices across the organization.
Responsibilities

+ Complete and maintain required government reports related to air quality, water quality, and solid waste management.

+ Prepare applications for all necessary environmental permits and ensure permits are received, maintained, and kept current.

+ Provide technical assistance to operations through environmental data analysis, process monitoring, and up-to-date knowledge of environmental systems and procedures.
