Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

• Person in charge of the workplace on environmental regulations pertaining to the Environmental Public Health (Registration of Environmental Control Officers) Regulations 1999
• Person in charge of the workplace implementation and revision of Environmental Management in the worksite
• Act as an Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)
• Establish, update, maintain, and implement the Environmental Management System and Environmental Impact Assessment
• Conduct / plan site environmental inspection and ensure effective implementation and continual improvement on all environmental matters; advise the occupier or other person in charge of environmental health problems and recommend remedies to establish a healthy working environment
